JDL Tech ("we", "us", "our") builds mobile applications, including Lodeline and Magpie. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to our apps.

Information we collect

We aim to collect the minimum data needed to operate our apps. Depending on the app and the features you use, this may include:

• Account information — such as an email address, if an app requires sign-in.
• Device & usage data — device model, OS version, app version, and basic diagnostic/crash data, used to fix bugs and improve stability.
• Content you provide — information you enter directly within an app to use its features.

We do not collect more than is necessary for a given app to function. Each app's App Store / Google Play listing includes an itemized data-safety disclosure specific to that app.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve our apps.
• To diagnose and fix bugs or crashes.
• To respond to support requests you send us.
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing of information

We do not share personal information with third parties except:

• With service providers who help us operate our apps (e.g., cloud hosting, crash reporting), under obligations to protect your data.
• If required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• With your consent.

Data retention

We retain information only as long as needed to provide our apps and for legitimate business or legal purposes, then delete or anonymize it.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at privacy@jdl-tech.com. You can also uninstall an app at any time, and adjust permissions (such as notifications or location) through your device settings.

Children's privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our apps evolve. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
